Australia is the new team in Asian Cup. Australia is most probably the first country who came to play in Asian Cup from outside Asia. Australia is expected to be one of the strongest claimers of the cup of Asian Cup 2007. However, Australia started tournament through an ordinary draw against Oman by 1-1. In the first match, they drew against Iraq by 1-1 and then in the second match, they got an excellent victory over Oman. So, Thailand has already got 4 points playing two matches. On the other hand, Australia could not play well in the first match and their star players like Mark Viduka, Henry Kewell could not impress the fans at all.

For both Thailand and Australia, the match has a great significance as they have no other option except win. For Thailand, they will get the support of the home fans and they will be inspired to do something memorable in front of the home fans. On the other hand, Australia will try to win the match because they came to play in Asian Cup to win the cup.
