Spanish Super Cup 2007: Both Real Madrid and Sevilla Facing Injury Problems

Ahead of the Spanish Super Cup 2007, both Real Madrid and Sevilla FC are facing some injury problems. Specially, Real Madrid has already got some injury news and some of the front line players are not going to attend Super Cup 2007. Striker Ruud van Nistelrooy and defender Christoph Metzelder are in doubt for the Super cup match due to injury. However, Real Madrid has officially confirmed that Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuaín will not take part in the Super Cup.

On the other hand, Sevilla FC has also some injury problems including Javi Navarro and Julien Escude. New comer Khalid Boulahrouz is also facing injury threat and striker Frederic Kanoute are also in doubt for the Super Cup match against Real Madrid.

It is not possible to predict anything beforehand about the match because both the teams will try to open the season winning this pre-season Super Cup 2007 title. For both the teams, this is a good chance to increase their confidence before the new Spanish Premier League season.

The first match of Spanish Super Cup 2007 will be held on 11 August 2007. Real Madrid and Sevilla FC will face other in this pre-season tournament. Gonzalo Higuain has fallen in a thigh muscle injury recently and no doubt, he will miss both leg match of Super Cup 2007.

I am eagerly waiting for Spanish Super Cup 2007. What about you? I guess that many of you are waiting for this match too just like me. Fernando Gago is also waiting like us for this match. If you are a fan of Real Madrid then you surely know about Fernando Gago. He is a midfielder in Real Madrid club. Gago is from Argentina and in last season, he played well for Real Madrid.
