LG G-Slate Available for $529 on T-Mobile with Two Year Contract

T-Mobile USA has revealed the pricing policy of LG G-Slate tablet PC. The device from LG is now available from T-Mobile for $529 after a $100 mail-in rebate on a two-year contract for data usage. LG G-Slate is the first 4G tablet PC from T-Mobile- meaning users will have access to the carrier’s 4G HSPA+ mobile broadband network, besides Wi-Fi connectivity.

LG G-Slate comes up with some attractive features including a 8.9-inch HD display with the capability of playing 3D content on the tablet thanks to its 3D display. Moreover, the device can capture 3D 1080p video via its dual rear-facing 5-megapixel cameras. It also has a front-facing camera facilitating video calls.

Powered by dual-core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, the LG G-Slate can provide the users with some excellent mobile experience. It also features 32GB flash memory and supports Adobe Flash-based content. Most importantly, users will find Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system. So, users will be able to download various apps from Android Marketplace.

Well, it is true that the LG tablet PC has some very good features, but T-Mobile pricing seems to be little bit high- especially when you are bound to pay $20 per month for using data for 2 years.

A number of tablet PCs will arrive in the market in the coming months with lots of new features and functionalities. So, you may not like to be contracted with a particular carrier for a particular model for 24 months, even though LG G-Slate is a device worth to own.

LG G-Slate Tablet and G2X Smartphone to Come on T-Mobile on 20th April?

LG is now preparing to launch two NVIDIA Tegra 2-powered devices: LG G-Slate tablet PC and G2X smartphone. According to Vlad Savov of Engadget, the South Korean company could announce the release date of the two products at the upcoming CTIA 2011 which will run from 22 March to 24 March.

Reports available in the media suggest that LG would release the two products running on T-Mobile on 20^th April, though it is not yet confirmed officially.

G-Slate would be the first ever tablet PC from LG and it has to face huge competition from the likes of Apple iPad 2 and Motorola Xoom from the very beginning. However, it has some attractive features including Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system and 4G capability. Here, it is noteworthy that G-Slate would support T-Mobile’s HSPA+ 4G network which ensures superfast speed.

G2X smartphone which is considered as the US name for the Optimus 2X would also come from T-Mobile. If that is true, then G2X seems to be an attractive device from the South Korean company.

LG G-Slate Tablet Offering 3D Features with Dual Rear Cameras

You perhaps already know that LG is going to release its first tablet PC G-Stale which would come up with some excellent features. A recent video uploaded in Youtube showcases various features of the 8.9-inch device.

The best part of the LG G-Slate tablet is perhaps its 3D capabilities. Alongside a front-facing, the tablet comes up with 2 cameras on the back in order to capture 3D pictures and videos. No doubt, the 4G capability of the device would help it make good competition with Xoom which would be upgraded to Verizon’s 4G LTE technology very soon.
