Microsoft IE9 Special Offers: Free Hulu Plus for one month

It looks like Microsoft is not just content by churning out the fastest Internet browser in its history. It is now going extra miles to promote the browser. The software giant is offering different attractive deals for those who would download and install IE9 in their machines.

For example, if you pin the Groupon website on your taskbar, you will be able to see all the current deals available in Groupon and you make your purchase in the taskbar. However, the best of all the deals is if you access the Hulu Plus website and pin it on your taskbar, you will get one month free subscription of Hulu Plus and watch all your favorite TV series for free.

For $250 worth purchase from Gilt through the taskbar you will get a free Xbox 360 4GB Kinect bundle.

On March 8, 2011, Google Chrome 10 was released followed by Internet Explorer 9 on March 14 and Mozilla Firefox 4 is coming out on March 22, 2011. So, we will see a major browser face off in coming months.

Internet Explorer 9 becomes popular with 2.3 million downloads in first 24 hours

I am not a big fan of Internet Explorer. In fact, this is the last browser I would use unless I am forced to use it. Still, I am highly impressed with the matter that Internet Explorer 9, the latest version of Microsoft’s official web browser, observed 2.3 million downloads in the first 24 hours since its release.

Out of curiosity, I also downloaded Internet Explorer 9 and to be honest with you, I did not dislike it.

I was impressed with the browser’s high-speed site loading capability. It seems that Microsoft has really worked on the speed matter of Internet Explorer 9. Though I was happy with the speed, to be honest with you, I will not use it because I am still in love with Opera browser. This is the funny thing.

Nine years ago, I only used to use Internet Explorer because I did not know about any other browser. Then, I became habituated to Opera and I am not interested to return to Internet Explorer despite the fact that I am impressed with the speed.
