T-Mobile has now announced the pricing policy for Samsung Sidekick 4G smartphone. It is now available for $99 after deducting $50 mail-in rebate with a two-year contract. However, users can choose a cheaper data plan, but for that they have to pay $149 for two-year contract.
Samsung Sidekick 4G comes up with a 3.5-inch touchscreen offering 480 x 800 resolution. Powered by 1GHz Hummingbird processor, the smartphone also features a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera alongside a front-facing VGA camera. Users will find up to 32GB of storage via microSD/SDHC slot. The device runs on Android 2.2 Froyo operating system.
Most importantly, users will be able to use T-Mobile’s HSPA+ 4G network. The sliding phone also features a 5-row QWERTY keyboard with curved keys. The good thing about the keyboard is that there is enough space between the keys which the users would find conducive for typing.
The smartphone looks pretty good in terms of software features too. There are a redesigned includes a redesigned music application and an unique screen.
