Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale has revealed that Wales has everything needed to defeat England in Saturday’s Group G qualifier of Euro 2012. He believes that Wales has got some players who are confident to cause an upset against their mighty neighbor England.
Wales is current at the bottom of Group G after losing the first three matches of the group stage and is now looking to come back strongly against England.
Regarding the game, Bale said:
We’re quietly confident in the camp that we’ve got enough to pull off an upset. People might laugh at us but we fully believe that we’ve got some good players here and we’ll be prepared and ready to take it to England.
Gareth Bale has been in superb form so far this season and has attracted the interest of many European clubs. It seems a number of suitors would like to make attempt to sign the 21-year-old winger.
Meanwhile, there are reports available in the media suggesting Bale would undergo a fitness test on Thursday as he suffered a minor hamstring problem. Here, it is noteworthy that Bale has just returned from a back injury and is now raring to be involved in the England game.
