Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has now come up with a new idea of starting the last three Premier League matches of all teams simultaneously. At the moment, only the season-ending matches kick off at the same time in Premier League.
However, Wenger thinks that competing teams sometimes get psychological advantage by knowing the result of the other matches ahead of their fixtures.
Wenger revealed to the official website of Arsenal:
I think they should make each team's last three fixtures all kick off at the same time, not just the last one. There are advantages and disadvantages to kicking off later than the other teams. If you kick off later than your rivals, and they have lost, then you are in a more comfortable situation.
Psychologically it can give you a lift, and it's true that it can apply for us or Manchester United or Chelsea, but I think it would be better not to give any team this advantage.
Well, it is true that competition in the Premier League- both for the title race as well as for other place-related achievements and avoiding relegation, is getting stiffer season after season, and competing teams for a particular achievement begin to get mental boost in the last few matches.
So, FA can give seriously give a thought to the suggestion of Arsene Wenger.
