Apple targets MiKandi “App Store” after Amazon

After Amazon “App Store,” Apple turns its eyes to “MiKandi App Store. It is a pornography app store available on Google Android. The service received a

“cease-and-desist letter” from Apple for using its “App Store” trademark. It is the second “digital download service” targeted by Apple after Amazon.

After the warning, MiKandi changed from “App Store” to “App market.” It changed its official pitch, “the world’s first app store for adult.” It also changed its name from “MiKandi App Store” too “MiKandi App Market.”

Apple first applied for “app store” trademark in 2008 and it had been challenged by Microsoft back then challenged it for it thinks that “app store” is too generic.
