Arsene Wenger: Not Everything is Lost with Manuel Almunia

In the last few days, most of us thought that the time for Manuel Almunia was finishing at Arsenal. However, Coach Arsene Wenger has come out of all most nowhere to say that it might not be the end of everything for this Spanish goalkeeper at the London based club. This will surely make a lot of people surprised.
Arsene Wenger said to Sky Sports:
"We need three goalkeepers of top level. For example, on Monday night we had Wojciech make his debut in the Premiership and we had Fabianski on the bench. If something happens to one keeper you need three world-class goalkeepers.
I can't talk about the future of players who are on long-term contracts.
I am surprised that every time a player has to fight for his position that you think straight away that he has to leave, that is quite surprising to me. It is part of our job."

I strongly believe that Arsene Wenger try to find a top quality goalkeeper in January transfer window. Manuel Almunia should be allowed to leave the club and join Spain. He will have no problem to find a club there because some clubs are strongly interested about this player.
