In the end, Arsenal played well and much better than last season against Chelsea. It was a very close match and Arsenal got a number of good chances but could not capitalize. They surely missed captain Cesc Fàbregas. His presence could have changed the result of the match.
Arsene Wenger did his best to keep Fabregas and it was a very wise decision from the coach. Anyway, if you take a look at Arsenal this season then you will notice that since the day, Fabregas became injured, Arsenal lost their way in the EPL point table. As long as Fabregas was there, they were doing very well and did not lose any match. Without him, they lost two matches in just two weeks.
So, the only thing for Arsenal fans to do at this moment is to pray for quick return of Fabregas. Of course, another important player that Arsenal is missing at this moment is Robin van Persie. Theo Walcott is also out of action.
This season, Arsenal has a great team but they just need to get their players intact.
