Newly-designed Apple TV will cost $99

Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, introduced some new great products and newly-designed services in the Apple Music Event 2010 that took place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theatre in San Francisco. Here, Apple TV was one of the services’ that was unveiled.

Before the start of the music event it was guessed that newly designed Apple TV will be renamed and it will be dubbed iTV. However, at the end, it is seen that Apple TV has not renamed but it has brought some major changes that makes it more attractive services among the gadget lovers.

It has come in much smaller shape than the current Apple TV. It did not become so popular when it was launched in 2006. However, this time it comes with some great features. Priced at £99, it will be available in store within next four weeks. No doubt, it is decent amount of money that users will think a lot before spend.

Using broadband and HDMI port, it will stream content from iTunes to main screen in the living room. Users can also view photos stored on his or her computer through the TV and listen to their music collection.

However, it has no download option. So, you have to rent the rent programs and movies to enjoy the facilities.

It can be accessed into YouTube to stream films and HD video from the site. It has special remote control app that will help users to control it with iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Not only that but also Apple TV can be accessed in these devices too.
