Magical Performance from Arsenal at Champions League against Braga

It was surely a magical performance from Arsenal against Braga in EUFA Champions League on Wednesday night. This was the first match for the both teams and it was a home match for Arsenal. Naturally the fans expected their London club to win but hardly anyone could imagine that they would win by such a huge margin. After all, Braga was second in Portuguese league last season. Braga is a Portuguese team and not from Malta or any other weak country or Faraway Island.

It was the night of Cesc Fàbregas surely. He scored two goals and was very unlucky not to get the third goal. He is the captain and he led the team very well. The fans again understood that he is their best player and they should be thankful Arsène Wenger for his all out effort to keep Fàbregas in the team despite the fact that Barcelona tried their level best to attract him. It was only Arsène Wenger who could convince Fàbregas and Fàbregas has showed that he is loyal to Arsenal club. It is no secret that he wanted to go but when he decided to stay he has put his mind in his club and he played very well. Another good quality of Fàbregas is that he is very unselfish and he didn’t go for the third goal and instead give the ball to Vela who was in a better position. Vela also scored two goals in the match.

The fans got very happy with the two new players and specially Chamakh. Chamakh is in superb form in the opening part of the season. Because of him, Arsenal supportes are not missing Robin Van Persie a lot. Robin van Persie is the best striker and he is going to be out of action for few weeks. The best things with the arrival of Chamakh is that Chamakh is very strong with a real position.

This season, the defense look solid. Clichy is in very good form and he is all the time going up. The new french player in defence also good and he is forming a very good partnership with Vermaelen. The fans are also missing Vermaelen who is going to come after a few days from injury. In the match against Braga, Almunia was not tested that much. However, Almunia is playing well this season so far and he is proving that he has become a matured goalkeeper. The players also like him and both the coach and captain have expressed their confidence over Almunia.

In the next match,  Arsenal is going to travel away and play an English premier league. The gunners should try to win the match because Chelsea is also in superb form. This season Manchester United looks some weak so far and Manchester City is struggling already. Liverpool is also not doing well. Now, the main matter looks to be between Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea just like last season.
