ASUS’s 1015PN and 1015PEM will introduce Intel’s Atom N550 processors

Taiwan-based company, ASUS, is planning to release its two new versions, 1015PN and 1015PEM, that will introduce Intel’s latest released dual-core, mobile Atom N550 processors.

Some details information has been found for the forthcoming Eee PC netbook.

ASUS 1015PEM comes with 1.5 GHz N550 CPU as the most attractive feature. They are the first laptop company to use this latest duel-core processor sporting the new CPU. It also has up to 2GB of DDR3 memory, has GMA 3150 integrated graphics, a hard drive and Wireless connectivity. It is priced at €349 ($440 US) when it will hit the market.

However, there is hardly to get any information about 1015PN. ASUS 1015PN will add NVIDIA’s Ion 2 platform according to a quotation from ASUS’ North American team reported by Engadget. It will hit the market in September. Sporting 10-inch screen, it will include some powerful specs. It is yet to decide the price of this version. It is thought that it will be helpful for high-end users.
