PUC results 2010: Get from website

On July 30, 2010, the PUC Supplementary Results 2010 has been published by Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka. To see the result, visit:

Located in the Southern part of India, Karnataka is an Indian state, created on November 1, 1956. It is bordered by the Arabian Sea to the west, Goa to the northwest, Maharashtra to the north, Andhra Pradesh to the east, Tamil Nadu to the southeast, and Kerala to the southwest.

Karnataka is home to some of the top educational institutions of India including the Indian Institute of Science, Indian Institute of Management, the National Institute of Technology Karnataka and the National Law School of India University.

The central government also approved another IIT in the state in Muddenahalli under its 11th 5 year plan. This will be the first IIT in Karanataka along with Visvesvaraya Institute of Advanced Technology (VIAT) which is under construction between and Kanivenarayanapura.

As per the Census of 2001, Karnataka has a literacy rate of 67.04% with 76.29% males and 57.45% females.

Students who finish their Secondary School Leaving Certificate exam will have to pursue a two-year Pre University course or a three year diploma course before getting admitted in graduate level courses.
