No Nicklas Bendtner, Robin van Persie and Cesc Fàbregas in Liverpool vs Arsenal Match

On August 15, 2010, Arsenal will have its first Premiere League face-off with Liverpool sans three key players- Nicklas Bendtner, Robin van Persie and Cesc Fàbregas.

Bendtner is recovering from his groin injury while Fabregas and van Persie are exhausted playing World Cup 2010. They will return to the club on August 5, 2010, which means, they would not have much time to prepare for the match.

Arsène Wenger, manager of Arsenal, is not sure about Fabregas and van Persie. The August 15th match would take place at Anfield stadium.

Meanwhile news reports are saying that Barcelona F.C. is after Fabregas. Barca received £24m from City for Yaya Touré and would use the money to pick Fabregas.

However, Wenger already declared that Fabregas is not for sale. In June 2010, Arsenal rejected Barca’s £29m offer. Wenger on the club’s website said, "Cesc is a very important player for us, he is our captain and we've worked very hard for him to be our future,……That is why we are always adamant about not letting him go."

As Arsenal made it clear that it would not let go Fàbregas, Barca is now targeting

Étienne Capoue of Toulouse FC, Mesut Özil of Werder Bremen and Juan Manuel Mata of Valencia.
