Jacqueline Fernandez will play few roles at IIFA Awards 2010

Despite facing all the controversies, one of the most prestigious award ceremonies, IIFA awards 2010, is going to take place in Sri Lanka between June 3 and June 5, 2010. This event will be charmed with the presence of some Bollywood superstars and their fans who will visit Sri Lanka for participating at the gala event.

The Sri Lankan beauty, Jacqueline Fernandez, is one of the superstars who will perform in this event. She will be seen to play quite a few roles at the event. She will perform with a dance troupe from the native country and she will also be walking the ramp for the designers Manish Malhotra and Yoland.

The former Miss Sri Lanka, Jacqueline Fernandez, made her debut in Bollywood with Aladin where she played the role of Jasmine. After that, she has acted in two other films. She is excited about the event that is going to take place in her motherland. According to her recent interview, it has been revealed that IIFA is one of the events to be held in Sri Lanka.

Some big Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, Abhishek Bachchan and his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will not attend at this event. Despite their absence, many Bollywood superstars will present in Colombo.

A charity cricket match will be played between Sri Lankan cricketers and Indian celebrities. Hrithik Roshan will lead the Indian celebrities’ cricket team in this match.

However, it will not be possible for millions of fans to visit Sri Lanka to enjoy the event live. For those, Star Plus will broadcast it live. IIFA Awards has become a big opportunity to promote Sri Lanka in Bollywood. It will also help to make bridge between the two countries.

It is expected that IIFA Awards will be successful in Sri Lanka.
