Gareth Bale Signed New 4 Year Deal with Tottenham Hotspur

Young Wales defender Gareth Bale has recently signed a new four-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur. The left-back has been in excellent form this season and helped Tottenham secure a top four finish with which the club clinched a Champions League spot for the next season. After his scintillating performance, Manchester United recently revealed their interest to sign the 20-year-old defender.

Gareth Bale joined Spurs in 2007 at the age of 17, one year after his international debut with Wales national team. Players like Bale and Aaron Lennon were the highlights of the season for Tottenham who are going to take part in Champions League next season for the first time.

Though a left back, Gareth Bale can play as a left winger too. He can set up goals for others and score himself.
