Stoke Draws with Liverpool 1-1: 16 January 2010

It is a good score line for Stock city at the end because very few supporters of the club perhaps thought that they could win the match. It was bad luck for Liverpool because they were leading by 1-0 until the dying moment. In the first time, Liverpool was very unlucky not to get a penalty but they got the goal at the 57 minutes thanks to Kyrgiakos. Huth leveled the score at the 90th minute for Stoke.
Stoke manager Tony Pulis said, " I think it was a fair result.
It was a scrappy game but fair play to Liverpool they were very dogged and they got about us.
We are disappointed with the goal we conceded and are very pleased to get the point.
It looks like Thomas could have done better but he has been superb for us all season."
With this draw, Liverpool is now on 7th position in the league table with 34 points from 21 matches.
