Yaya Toure Could Leave Barcelona in January Looking for More First Team Football

Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure is currently struggling to get enough first team football at Barcelona and has recently revealed his discontent at not being given enough time on the pitch. Ahead of next year’s world cup, the midfielder is now aware of the fact that he must play regularly in order to show his character and clinch a place in the world cup squad of Ivory Coast.

Reports have it in the media that Yaya Toure is now seriously considering a move away from Barcelona in January and Arsenal could be his preferred destination. In fact, the North London side earlier showed their interest to the midfielder and tried to acquire his service. Now that Yaya, the brother of former Arsenal player Kolo Toure, is also determined to make a move in January unless he is assured of more first team football in the second half of the season, it seems that Arsenal would give another shot to land the midfielder at the Emirates stadium in January.
