Real Madrid Targets Champions League Title in 2010

Spanish giant Real Madrid has set their 2010 target on Champions League title. Real Madrid is now looking to win their 10^th Champions League title next year in front of their home fans as the Champions league 2010 final is scheduled to take place at their home ground. The Los Merengues are keen to mark the occasion special by winning another European title.

Madrid stars Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo met the club president Florentino Perez to celebrate Christmas and they vowed to win the European title. Ronaldo said, “It would be amazing to reach the Champions League final for both the players and the fans.”

Kaka said, “"We can play the [Champions League] final at home, and it is a key objective to fight for it for our fans. It will also be a special year because of the World Cup. It would be great to enjoy a good year with Real Madrid and the national team."

Real Madrid spent heavily in Summer transfer window to strengthen its squad as the La Blancos did not win any title last season.
