Barcelona already has 5 trophies in their kitty in 2009 and they are now looking to add World Club Cup trophy to their list of success this year. No doubt, 2009 has been one of the most successful years in the history of the Catalan side. Now, they are trying to make it more glorified.
Barcelona progressed to the final of the FIFA World Club Cup final defeating Mexican team Atlante 3-1 in the semi final. They are determined to win the tournament final against Argentine outfit Estudiantes. Their semi final victory was not as easy as it was thought. In fact, the European champions had to rebound from a goal down in the game.
Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez hopes thatBarcelona will perform better in the final and win the tournament. Estudiantes defeated Korean club Pohang Steelers 2-1 in the last four and progressed to the final.
