Bacary Sagna Declined Real Madrid and Juventus Offers?

Reports out in the media suggest that Arsenal’s French right back Bacary Sagna has played down offers from Real Madrid and Juventus in his bid to continue his job at Arsenal. The French international has bee in superb form so far this season with the Gunners. Sagna did not take much time to show his talent and skill after his move to the North London club from Auxerre for a transfer fee of £6 million in 2007, and soon after joining the club, he became a regular in the right back position.

A source close to Bacary Sagna recently revealed that Spanish giants Real Madrid kept Sagna in their shortlist while looking for a right back. Moreover, Italian side Juventus also showed interest in him. However, Sagna displayed his loyalty for the club as he decided not to leave Emirates stadium. In fact, he did not even go into any negotiation with the two clubs as he is not interested to leave Arsenal.

Well, I think, Sagna has taken the right decision. He has grown up under Arsene Wenger and is still developing his skill and flourishing his talent under the guidance of Wenger. Moreover, he could perhaps understand that a golden era is waiting for Arsenal and he also wants to be part of it. He is now 26, so you can assume that he has his best years ahead of him and could contribute a lot to Arsenal’s successes in the years to come.
