Arsenal gets top position in group H of Champions League 2009-10

Last night Arsenal played against Standard League and it was a home match for the gunners. They easily won it by 2-0. However, their performance did not impress anyone that much. It was a comfortable win and the goal came from Samir Nasri and Denílson. Both of the goals came in the first half and they were good goals but this time, the fans at the Emirates stadium understood the value of players like Robin van Persie. In his place there was Carlos Vela and he did not impress at all. However, we have to understand that Vela is a very young player and he has just started getting chance in the first eleven. Now, Arsenal has a much bigger match in this Saturday against Chelsea and they will have to perform much better if they want to get any point from the league leaders. Chelsea is this at this moment in very superb form and they are leading the league table and it seems that this season, they can become the league champion.
