Lucas Leiva Not Leaving Liverpool

Rumors have it in the media that Lucas Leiva is going to leave Liverpool next summer looking for more first team football. Well, the Brazilian midfielder has ruled out all these speculations, claiming that he is happy at Liverpool and has never thought of moving away from the club. Lucas Leiva has become a valuable midfielder in the Liverpool squad who most of the time comes off the bench as a substitute, but still his performance is satisfactory. He was impressive in Liverpool’s recent 4-1 thrash of Manchester United and he is now very confident of continuing his mission to clinch a regular spot in the Liverpool starting line up.

Lucas Leiva has said that he has got enough inspiration from manager Rafael Benitez and has acknowledged that he has received supports from Javier Mascherano, Xabi Alonso and Steven Gerrard.
