Frank Lampard thinks that Chelsea is still very much in the title race. At this moment, Manchester United leads the premier league by 7 points with a game in hand. If Manchester United can win against Newcastle United this week, then they will go 10 points clear at the top. Well, Lampaprd thinks that Untied would not go winning forever and he expects that Sir Alex Ferguson boys would make mistake and Chelsea would capitalize on that. Lampard has also said that there are lots of points available in the league.
Well, I agree with Lampard on the fact that possibility of Chelsea’s title run rests on poor performance by United. In fact, Manchester United would have to lose points if Chelsea is to close the gap. However, considering the high-flying form of Manchester United, I think, they are less likely to lose as many points as Chelsea would require to bridge up the gap.
