Chelsea is one of the two Big Four clubs who have not lost any point so far in premier league 2009-10 season. No doubt, Chelsea has found their Portuguese players in better shape this season. Midfielder Deco scored in 3-1 victory against Sunderland, while two defenders Jose Bosingwa and Ricardo Carvalho have been pretty much impressive so far.
There is no doubt, time has not come to evaluate performance as the season is still in its infancy. However, the indication is clear that the three Portuguese players are going to contribute a lot to Chelsea’s success this season. They were not at their best and thus lost the favor of Guss Hiddink last season, but the new Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti is treating the three differently. It seems the players are responding too.
