Who to Replace Emanuel Adebayor in Arsenal?

Arsenal striker Emanuel Adebayor has finally moved to Manchester City and in return Arsenal received a handsome paycheck of £25 million. Now, the question is how Arsene Wenger would spend it to bring Adebayor’s replacement in the squad. No doubt, Adebayor has been the most influential performer for the Gunners over the last couple of seasons, and it is pretty much certain that Wenger would try to land a striker or at least an attacking midfielder in order to fill up the void created by Adebayor’s move to Manchester City.

Well, Arsenal already has an excellent playmaker in Andrei Arshavin and another good news is that long-time injured Tomas Rosicky has been back in action recently and he could start the new season. However, they still need a quality striker besides Robin van Persie and Theo Walcott.

Reports available in the media suggest that Wenger is all set to make a bid for Real Madrid striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar whom the club is going to sell in Summer. Klaas Jan Huntelaar is very potential, but he is yet to flourish his potential in big stage. However, that would not be a problem for Wenger who is a well-known for bringing the best out of his players. It would also be very good if he can be nurtured under Arsene Wenger. However, the problem is that Real Madrid might ask an amount which match with Wenger’s offer because Arsenal is always skeptical about big-money signing.
