Ryan Giggs Singed One Year Extension Deal with Manchester United

Manchester United handed a one-year contract to its most decorated midfielder Ryan Giggs recently, dismissing all the rumors suggesting his retirement at the end of this season. By this deal, Ryan Giggs would remain at Old Trafford until Summer 2010. There were rumors that Giggs would retire at the end of this season and Manchester United would include him in his coaching staff.

There are many who believe that it is high time Ryan Giggs should hang his boots, but the midfielder has recently showed that he still has something to offer for Manchester United when he guided Manchester United to clinch a 3-0 victory over Chelsea last month. Ryan Giggs holds the record for highest appearance for Manchester United and has won 10 league titles, 4 FA Cup and 2 Champions League titles so far. Now, let us see if Giggs can add some more titles to his illustrious career at Manchester United.
