John Buchanan Criticized Indian Cricketers in His Book

Former Australian coach John Buchanan has criticized some of the present and former Indian cricket stars. He has criticized the players like Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh, Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh in his recently-published book titled "The Future of Cricket: The Rise of Twenty20." Many Indian cricket fans are now angry at his criticisms towards the greats like Ganguly, Gavaskar as well as Sachin and many people fully criticized Buchanan for this. In his response to Buchanan’s criticism, Harbhajan indicated the coach’s on-field record with Kolkata Knight Riders who recently sacked him form the coaching role.

Well, I think, John Buchanan should have shown some respect to the cricketers who contributed a lot to cricket over the years. I guess it could be a publicity gimmick for the book which many people would now be interested to go through. Anyway, I would say that John Buchanan had plenty of success as a cricket coach, specially with Australia, but that does not mean that he has the right to criticize some of the great players without any reason.
