Jeev Milkha Singh is going to play in Volvo Masters of Asia

Indian golfer, Jeev Milkha Singh, rose to 44th position in the latest World Golf Rankings. Jeev Milkha Singh and Jyoti Randhawa obtained the 17th position in the 2008 Omega Mission Hills World Cup which finished on November 30, 2008. The success not only improved Jeev Milkha Singh’s ranking but also assured his participation in the second Asian title this season, the Volvo Masters of Asia which is going to start from December 15, 2008 at the Thai Country Club. The winner of Volvo Masters of Asia will get $750,000.

Jyoti Randhawa, who is ranked 144th made some impressive below par strokes. In the final round, the team had a good beginning but gradually their performance started to slide downwards. In the 72 strokes 18 hole course, the team scored five below par in round one followed by par, two below par and one below par.

After winning the $5 million Barclays Singapore Open, Jeev Milkha Singh crossed talented New Zealand golfer Mark Brown, a long time Order of Merit leader.
