Carlos Tevez: Staying or Leaving Manchester United?

(This entry was originally published on Saturday, January 3rd, 2009)

Carlos Tevez is an Argentine striker and he has been at Manchester united for quite some time now. He came here on a loan deal and he is yet to get or make a permanent deal with Manchester United until now. It seems that he is seeking a lot of money and Manchester United is not that much interested to pay him a huge amount of money at this moment. In stead, what I can see is that they are looking for more options and signing of Serbian players Zoran Tosic and Adem Ljajic is an indication that Manchester United is seriously exploring alternatives to Carlos Tevez. Carlos Tevez should think about his future very seriously from now on. He should seek expert advice from other Argentine players playing in Europe. I personally think that he would be a better fit in Spanish La Liga. There are many South American players playing in La Liga. He should think of Real Madrid or Barcelona for his long term future because his style of play would be better there. In fact, Carlos Tevez has not been able to make a very strong impact in English premier league in last two years. Yes, he is playing well, but he is not among the top three or top five players in EPL.
