Twenty20 World Cup 2009 Live on ESPN and Star Cricket TV Channels

Twenty20 world cup 2009 starts from 5 June in England with 12 teams participating in the tournament. After the success of twenty20 world cup 2007, cricket fans are now expecting another highly competitive tournament this time. The good news for South Asian cricket fans is that all the 27 matches of the tournament will be shown live on Star Cricket television channel.

Star Cricket is a 24-hour cricket channel operated by ESPN Star Sports in South Asia. It mainly covers major cricket tournaments like twenty20 world cup, ICC world cup and many others. ESPN Star Sports holds the official television rights of International Cricket Council (ICC) by which they are allowed to cover all the cricket tournament organized by ICC.

Well, Star Cricket will telecast the matches with Hindi commentary for the Indian cricket fans, while all the matches will be live on ESPN television channel with English commentary in South Asia.
