Rain washed away the Second Day of 2nd Test between England and West Indies

Second day of the ongoing second test between England and West Indies has been washed away due to rain at the Riverside cricket ground, Chester-le-Street. Due to consistent downpour, it was not possible to take the ball to the ground on the second day in what came as a big disappointment for visiting West Indies who are looking for a victory in the second test match to avoid series defeat. Thanks to two centuries from Alistair Cook and Ravi Bopara, England reached 302 for 2 at the end of the first day. At this moment, Cook is not out on 126, and night watchman James Anderson is batting on 4. With the second day being washed away due to rain, the task of West Indies has been pretty much tough now, and it would be a huge challenge for West Indies to bring out a result in their favor.
