James Hopes, Nathan Bracken out of IPL 2009

James Hopes and Nathan Bracken will not fly back to South Africa to participate in the ongoing IPL 2009. Both the players picked up knee injuries during Australia’s tour against Pakistan in UAE. With ICC World Twenty20 2009 just three weeks away, both Hopes and Bracken have been advised to take rest and recover in time to feature in the twenty20 world cup.

Bangalore Royal Challengers would sorely missed Nathan Bracken as the pacer has shown his current excellent form in the recent ODI series against Pakistan. So, Bracken’s presence could have been crucial for his IPL team Royal Challengers. Kings XI Punjab will miss the service of all rounder James Hopes who could have increased the strength of Kings XI Punjab. Now, it is expected that James Hopes and Nathan Bracken both will be fit before the twenty20 world cup gets underway.
