Hyundai launched LPG variant of Hyundai Accent sedan

In its latest move to produce, eco-friendly cars, on May 21, 2009, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL), India’s largest passenger car exporter and second-largest car manufacturer, launched the LPG variant of the base version of its popular luxury sedan, Hyundai Accent. In June 2008, HMIL launched the CNG version of its popular Hyundai Santro model. Now, Hyundai Santro is available in both LPG and CNG version.

Named Accent Eco, the sedan comes with an LPG kit certified by the Department of Explosives (DOE) and Automotive Research Authority of India (ARAI), India’s premier automobile testing and certifying authority.
