Era Infra Engineering obtains a contract from Central Public Works Department (CPWD)

On May 23, 2009, Era Infa Engineering announced to have obtained a major contract worth Rs. 810 million from Central Public Works Department (CPWD) to develop apartment in the country’s national capital. Under the project, Era Infra will construct apartment buildings at Minto Road area in Delhi. On May 22 , 2009, Era Infra also informed to have obtained another major contract worth Rs.1.1784 billion from Aravali Power Company to develop a permanent township at the Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project at Jhajjar in Haryana. The project from Aravali Power Company Pvt. Ltd. is a joint venture between NTPC, Indraprastha Power Generation Co. Ltd. and Haryana Power Generation Co. Ltd. The project is expected to be completed in two years.


Era Infra Engineering is one of the five companies of Era Group of Companies and has been working in the Indian infrastructure sector for the past twenty two years. On May 22, 2009, shares of Era Inra were traded at Rs.86.90 on Bombay Stock Exchange.
