The knock-out stage of IPL 2009 is about to come to an end. So far, this has been a tournament for the bowlers, given the helps the pitches possess for the bowlers. There are a number of bowlers who have found IPL 2009 as their come back platform. Interestingly, there was hardly anyone before the beginning of the tournament who could think that RP Singh and Lasith Malinga will be the top two bowlers at the stage of IPL 2009 Both the bowlers are jointly leading the wicket takers’ list with 16 wickets for each now.
There are some other bowlers who made a strong come back with IPL 2009. Laxmipathy Balaji and Ashis Nehra are the two bowlers who have been pretty much successful in the tournament so far. Specially, Ashis Nehra has been performing consistently so far in the tournament and I think, it might help him to earn a recall from national selectors. South African pacer Yusuf Abdulla has also caught the attention in IPL 2009.
