Aishwarya Rai destroyed Sonam Kapoor’s Cannes dream?

Sonam Kapoor’s Cannes dream has been destroyed courtesy ala Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. L’Oreal, the largest cosmetics and beauty company in the world, asked Sonam Kapoor to walk the red carpet on Cannes Film Festival. After hearing the news, Sonam Kapoor became very excited and in an interview she said something which did not go down well with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who has been endorsing L’Oreal for a decade. One India reports:

 

The excited Sonam in an interview dug her own grave when she offended Aishwarya. Sonam had said would be endorsing the youth brand and Aishwarya would appeal to the older women. This certainly did not go down too well with the former Miss World who has been a face of L'Oreal in India for years. Ash refused to walk the red carpet with Sonam and the L'Oreal had to bow down before her demands.

 

After news came out that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan forced L'Oreal to take such decision another controversy storm started which forced L'Oreal to give a statement. It is true that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a talented actress but one does not remain in the top spot. My advice to Sonam Kapoor would be to stay calm and keep her mouth shut. She has a long career ahead of her and would get chance to attend many other movie festivals.
