Nate Campbell vs Joan Guzman: Floyd Mayweather Sr. Expecting an Exciting Fight

Joan Guzman is going to face unified lightweight champion Nate Campbell tomorrow night (13 September) at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, Biloxi, Mississippi, USA. Campbell’s WBA, WBO and IBF titles will be at stake for Guzman who will be making his lightweight debut through this match. No doubt, boxing fans are eagerly waiting for the bout which will be telecast line on Showtime television channel for free. Ahead of the much-awaited fight, betters are putting their money, boxing fans are cheering on and the two players are taking their last-minute preparation. Both the players have already participated in heated-talk in the media, insulting each other. So, everything is completed. Now, it is time to ring the bells.

Well, former boxer Floyd Mayweather Sr. who is the current trainer of Joan Guzman. Mayweather recently talked about the fight and said that he was expecting an exciting fight between two good fights. However, he thinks that the best man will win the bout at the end of the day. Having said that, he was pretty much confident while saying that he always ended up working the corner of the best man- meaning he was indirectly indicating Guzman as the best man. He said that he would give Guzman the right strategy to follow after each and every round and would pick up the weakness during the bout.

However, Floyd Mayweather Sr. was full of praise about Nate Campbell while talking about Campbell’s latest victory over formerly undefeated Juan Diaz in a mouth-watering encounter. He credited Nate Campbell for the way fought against Juan Diaz. He thinks, Campbell fought smartly that was needed to win the bout. However, Mayweather thinks the upcoming fight will be a different bout for Nate Campbell who, he says, would need to fight against multi-dimensional Juan Guzman as opposed to Diaz.

There is no doubt, it is going to be a close bout with both the fighters simply eyeing on victory. Now, let us see if Floyd Mayweather Sr. can effectively help Juan Guzman to come out of the ring winning the titles currently held by Nate Campbell.
