Manchester United is going to feature new signing Dimitar Berbatov in the upcoming high-profile clash with Liverpool. Manchester United will travel to Anfield to face the host side on 13 September. However, Manchester United is still without their star winger Cristiano Ronaldo who is out of action with injury and could not take part any of the United matches so far this season. However, Manchester United may not have too much problem as the Red Devils have a number of quality options in Wayne Rooney, Carlos Tevez and Summer signing Berbatov.
Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov joined Manchester United in a move from Tottenham Hotspur for 30.75 million pounds. He had an excellent previous last season. Though Manchester United has a good recent record at Anfield as they did not lose at this ground since 2001 and did not concede any goal in league encounter with Liverpool during this time, Manchester United might feel the loss of Ronaldo who was instrumental behind Manchester United’s triumph in premier league and champions league. Now, it is yet to see if Dimitar Berbatov can continue his excellent form of Tottenham in Manchester United as well and help United continue their winning streak at Anfield against Liverpool.
