Radamel Falcao Rejected Arsenal

Colombian striker Radamel Falcao has recently made sure that he is not leaving his current club River Plate for English club Arsenal. Arsenal was interested in Radamel Falcao ahead of new season. However, the striker wants to stay at Argentine club River Plate and becomes the highest goal scorer in domestic league. The 22-year old Colombian international scored 38 goals from 58 matches since he joined the club in 2005.


Terming River Place his home, Radamel Falcao has also said that he feels very comfortable at the club and wants to win continental cup with River Plate. He is considered as one of the most promising strikers in the South American region at this moment. That is why, Arsene Wenger was interested in him.


In fact, Arsenal has lost some of their good players so far in the Summer transfer window. With Matthieu Flamini, Aleksander Hleb and Gilberto Silva already leaving, and Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor up for sale, Mr. Wenger has no other way except entering into the market looking for midfielder and striker.
