Manchester United is very close to complete a permanent deal for Carlos Tevez on a British record transfer fee reported to be in the region of £35 millions. Carlos Tevez joined the club last season from West Ham United and played a big part behind Manchester United’s double success in English premier league and Champions League last season. However, Manchester United did not make the permanent deal for Tevez last year.
Tevez came to Manchester United through a third party MSI owned by Kia Joorabchian, who had the economic right for the Argentine striker. Now, after this deal comes into existence, Carlos Tevez will be permanent at Manchester United. Manchester United holds the record transfer fee between English clubs as they paid the £29.1 million Leeds United for signing defender Rio Ferdinand in 2002.
