It has been reported that Chelsea’s Ukrainian striker Andrei Shevchenko might join Italian club Sampdoria on loan for the next season. According to Beppe Marotta, general manager of the club Sampdoria, admitted the news and also added, the two clubs are yet to reach a deal over the wages of Andrei Shevchenko. Last season, Antonio Cassano joined Sampdoria on a loan deal from Real Madrid and rekindled his form at the club and eventually turned out to be one of the top players in Europe. However, it is not yet certain if Chelsea’s newly appointed coach Luiz Felipe Scolari will keep Shevchenko in his plan or not. Scolari has already indicated to keep his faith on another striker Didier Drogba. Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o have been linked with a move possible move to Chelsea this season, even though nothing should be taken as granted yet. Now, let us see if Scolari keeps his faith on Shevchenko or recruit Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto’o for the next season.
