Wimbledon 2008: Lleyton Hewitt Advances to 4th Round

It is a breaking news that Lleyton Hewitt has defeated Simone Bolelli by 6-1, 6-3 and 7-6 in the third round of Wimbledon Tennis 2008. The match just finished few seconds ago.

At first, it was rather a one sided match but everything changed in the third set. Simone Bolelli was the opponent of Lleyton Hewitt in the third round. Hewitt started very strongly in the match and it took just 27 minutes for him to win the first set by 6-1. Bolelli played a bit better in the second set and Hewitt took the second set by 6-3 in 38 minutes. The third set was more competitive. Bolelli could offer some good resistance and played some superb shorts in the third set. At one stage, the players were leveled at 5-5. Then, Hewitt defended his serve and took the lead 6-5. In the next game, Bolelli served and kept his serve and it became 6-6 and the set went to tie breaker. Lleyton Hewitt played very well and won the tie breaker by 7-2.

In the fourth round, Lleyton Hewitt will play against Roger Federer.
