Rahul Dravid in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2008

Rahul Dravid is the former captain of Indian cricket team. He is one of the top run scorers of both test and ODI cricket. He has got more than ten thousand runs both in test and ODI cricket and he has very impressive average. Rahul Dravid has also scored 25 centuries in test cricket. In Indian premier league, Rahul Dravid is going to play for Bangalore Royal Challenger. Rahul Dravid is the captain of this team. He plays for Karnataka in domestic cricket and that is why it is natural that he is the captain of Bangalore Royal Challenger team in IPL.

This is the first version of Indian Premier League and a lot is expected from Rahul Dravid. Rahul Dravid captained India in the past and saw some successes. However, Rahul Dravid has hardly any experience of playing Twenty20 cricket. He may not be the best player in Twenty20 version of the match because he is a bit slow in scoring runs and at the same time he is now 35 years old and is no longer quick in fielding. However, he had some good players in his team and he will have to try to make the team successful with his captaincy.
