For the North American cricket fans Willow TV is going to bring the Indian premier league (IPL) matches live. So, the cricket fans of North American countries are going to enjoy the exciting matches of IPL through Willow TV.

In my earlier entry, I wrote about ATN TV channel which has got the right to telecast the Indian premier league matches live for the viewers of Canada. However, for the other North American viewers including the people residing in the US, Willow TV has bought the IPL broadcast rights in North America. So, Willow TV would now distribute the IPL matches live on television, radio, broadband and internet.

The inaugural tournament of Indian premier league (IPL) starts from 18 April 2008 which will continue till June 1, the day final of the tournament takes place. This is a multi-million dollar tournament which involves a number of star cricketers from around the world. World stars like, Sachin Tendulkar, Dhoni, Ricky Ponting, Mathew Hayden, Muttiah Muralitharan, Brett Lee are going to take part in this competition. So, it is almost clear that cricket fans will have an eye on this tournament.

It is true that cricket is not that much popular in North American countries. However, there are many Asian people currently residing in the North American countries like USA and cricket is really a big matter for them. So, it is good that those Asian people can now enjoy the Indian Premier League (IPL) through Willow TV channel, even staying thousands of kilo meters away. That will, for sure, make them feel thrilled.
