Michael Laudrup to Replace Avram Grant in Chelsea?

Chelsea manager Avram Grant is not feeling the pressure following his side’s surprise defeat to Championship side Barnsley in FA Cup recently. With the 0-1 defeat, Chelsea has been knocked out of the tournament, while Barnsley confirmed their first FA Cup semi final entrance after a long time. Chelsea earlier lost in the Carling Cup final to Tottenham Hotspur. In both the tournaments they were the title holders. So, it is certain that Grant will face huge pressure in the days to come.

Media has already started searching for the probable man for Chelsea to replace Grant next season. The most likely name is former footballer of Denmark, Michael Laudrup. He is now with Spanish club Getafe.

Goal.com reported:

One man who could well be suited to the job, though, is Michael Laudrup. Though relatively inexperienced like Grant, he is younger, and has had a miraculous playing career with the likes of Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid. He was voted as Denmark's best ever player and with good reason.

Michael Laudrup has been named the best ever player of Denmark. He started his coaching career with Danish club Brondby before moving to Getafe. In his short career as a coach, he worked as assistant manager of Denmark’s national side. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but what is almost certain is that if Chelsea could not win any trophy this season, then it would be very hard for Grant to carry on his job as a Chelsea manager. In that case, Laudrup would definitely be the most likely man to take over the job of Chelsea.
