Manchester United Back to the top, While Liverpool Still in the Title Race in English Premier League

Manchester United has been back at the top of Premier League with a hard fought 1-0 victory at Derby County, the bottom club of the table, on Saturday. On the other hand, Arsenal was held to a 1-1 draw by Middlesbrough, thus allowing Manchester United to go at the top. Both Manchester United and Arsenal now have 67 points each. However, Arsenal played a match more than Manchester United.

Chelsea is also coming with full swing and now breathing on the neck of the top two clubs. Liverpool is no far as the all reds continued their impressive run in Premier League. Liverpool won 2-1 over Reading and now only eight points away from the top two clubs. Well, you might argue with me saying that how eight points difference could not be that far with only eight matches yet to go in the season.

Well, Liverpool was at some point clearly out of the title race and even a die heard fan could not believe that they could be back in the race this season. Now, it is clearly seen that the way Liverpool is approaching and the top three clubs are slipping up, I have to say that Liverpool is still in the title race and I would not be surprised if Gerrard lifts the trophy at the end of the season.
