Carlos Queiroz Wants to Stay at Manchester United

There is rumor that Carlos Queiroz, the assistant manager of Manchester United, might join Portuguese club Benfica next season. However, Queiroz knocked it down saying no contact had been made yet by the club. He has the experience of managing Real Madrid in the past. Carlos Queiroz, however, said that he wound not ever say never. The manager has the top priority to become the successor of Sir Alex Ferguson in Manchester United when Ferguson leaves the job.

Fanfc reported:

"I won't ever say never, but there have been no discussions or talks," said Queiroz. "Benfica was of interest to me in the past but I am at Manchester United and there are many more challenges in front of me."

I think, it would be great for Carlos Queiroz if he is asked to take up the hot seat of Manchester United in future. He has showed enough performance since his joining the club. Actually, he is most probably the most highlighted assistant manager of English premier league. So, to me, he should stay at Manchester United for few more seasons as he has enough chances to get the job. Managing Manchester United would be much easier for Carlos Queiroz than managing any other club because, he already knows about most of the players and he will not have to face any new environment when he would start to work as a head coach of Manchester United. Thus, the probability of getting success increases with his new role.
