Bryan Robson to Become Global Ambassador of Manchester United

In real life, sometimes tings do not go in our way. We want something, but happen something else. That is the case of Bryan Robson. The former Manchester United captain is currently unemployed as he was sacked from the managerial post of Sheffield United. Now, it seems that he is going to be back to his root. Yes, at Manchester United. But don’t think he would replace his former boss Ferguson. Actually, he is expected to be the global ambassador of Manchester United. His task is to promote Manchester United as a widely known brand. The task has been conducting by Sir Bobby Charlton these days. However, Charlton, at 70, has become less capable of making trips around the world. So, Manchester United is looking for the formers stars who could promote the club’s name throughout the world.

Football.guardian reported:

He will not be invited to join the board of directors but United hope to capitalise on the popularity of a player who was known as Captain Marvel during his 13- year stint, with 345 appearances and 74 goals, under the management of Sir Alex Ferguson and, previously, Ron Atkinson.

Negotiations were described as "at their final stages" last night and a club spokesman said it was hoped an official announcement would be made shortly. "Bryan has played such a tremendous part in our history we would love him to return to Old Trafford to be a part of the club."

Manchester United is one of the most popular clubs throughout the world. They have huge fan base in different parts of the world, which is helpful for the club in terms of their business perspective as well. Bryan Robson played for Manchester United successfully many years and captained the side. Now, let us see if Bryan Robson continues his success at Old Trafford in his newly found role.
